She was born in Owingsville, Ky., to the late Austin and Sara (Reynolds) Jones and has been a resident of Marion since 1941. She married Russell W. Lowry. He died in August 1975. She retired from Foster Forbes in 1975 after 24 years. She was a member of the Birthday Club, and she liked to read.
