She was born December 25, 1931 in Otway to the late Arthur and Sylvia Dalton Hill.
Wilma attended Ohio State University and Ohio University, worked for Goodyear Atomic Corporation and then retired as a secretary at the Portsmouth City Health Department.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph William Augustin, whom died July 4, 2011.
She is survived by her four children; David Augustin (Marilyn) of Lucasville, Teresa Campbell (Bill) of Portsmouth, Anne Cantrell (Mike) of Portsmouth, and Nancy Ruby (Rick) of Grove City, 11 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. Wilma is also survived by a brother, Robert Hill of Otway and a sister, Betty Ingles of Milford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday May 29, 2014 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Adam Streitenberger officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at Melcher Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m.
A Wake Service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family's favorite charity is SOMC Hospice.
