Denison---Funeral services have been set for 10 a.m. Thursday at Johnson-Moore Chapel for Rev. G.W. Wall, 87, who died Thursday morning at Denison hospital. Rev. A.L. Merrill and Rev. R.E. Sholl will officiate. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery. Rev. Wall lived in Denison since 1949, having moved there from Pottsboro. He was a Baptist minister from 1911 until his retirement in 1949. He was also a farmer. His church was Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and he was a member of Woodmen of the World. Rev. Wall was born in Ripley, Miss. on Sept. 22, 1879, the son of Mr.and Mrs. Gus Wall. He received his schooling at Westminster Baptist Seminary in Dallas. He was married in 1897 to Addie Teel of Elmont. Survivors are his wife, three sons, Rev. A.F. Wall of Vandevoort, Ark.; Clyde Wall of Cenova, Calif. and J.F. (Dandy) Wall of Pottsboro; two daughters, Mrs. Oneta Ansley of Pittsburg, Calif.; and Mrs. Alene Buford of Yuba City, Calif.; 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great- grandchildren.
