Doris Bodeker Hines, age 73, of Paris, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014, at her residence. Mrs. Hines was a retired Registered Nurse and was employed by ETMC in Clarksville and Mt. Vernon. Later, with her love of antiquing she owned and operated "Tickle Your Fancy" antique store. Doris enjoyed gardening and loved her family and pets. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hines. She was born January 4, 1941, in Chester, Illinois, to Charles and Mildred Hartenberger Bodeker.
Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 1, 2014, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Tracy Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Wayne Johnson, Bobby Bryan, Gary Davidson, Jason Petty, Lee Pedone and Brian Burgess.
Survivors include one son, Lance Downs and wife Valeriya of Paris; two daughters, Wendy Foster of Kingwood and Janet Heidnthal and husband, Paul of Austin; six grandchildren, Haden and Bailey Downs, Abel, Dalton and Peyton Barber and Nikolai Gaffney; one brother, Delbert Bodeker and wife, Marianne of New Boston; and many friends.
