She was the former Josephine Nigrelli, born September 4, 1917 in Chicago, daughter of the late Nicholas & Theresa (Lo Presto) Nigrelli.
Josephine attended school in Chicago and was a graduate of C. Burnham School of Beauty Culture, Chicago in April of 1936.
On October 6, 1940 she was united in marriage to Anthony d'Alberti at All Saints Catholic Church, Chicago and he preceded her in death on September 3, 1993.
She was a registered cosmetologist in Chicago where she owned and operated Penny's Beauty Shop. They moved to Wisconsin in 1990.
Josephine was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Kiel.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews; BJ Nigrelli (LuAnne Heinen), Rita Nigrelli, Nancy Nigrelli. Randy (Cathy) Rozanski, Jim (Sue) Rozanski, Bill, Nick, Lloyd & Ken Kingsbury brother-in-law, Ed Rozanski and numerous great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony, one brother, Biagio (Gere) Nigrelli, two sisters, Theresa Rozanski, Ann (Joe) Kingsbury and two nephews, Nicholas & Terry Nigrelli.
The funeral Mass for Josephine will be held at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 413 Fremont St., Kiel,
Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
