Clinton James Moore went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 18, 2014.

He had a wonderful childhood, growing up with his two brothers in the Roundup-Klein area and up at Flatwillow, riding horses and playing in the Snowy Mountains.

He was born in Roundup on Oct. 11, 1946. He graduated high school in 1965 and went to serve his country in Fort Lewis, Wash., and on to Vietnam as a Sgt. E-5, Co. C, 3rd Battalion, 8th Infantry Division. He returned to Roundup and did many jobs working for Soape Drilling, Sanner Sawmill and working for the County of Musselshell. Clinton was the County Treasurer and Superintendent of Schools, and he especially liked Alice Johnson, his friend, who also worked there.

He moved to Billings in 1987, worked for the Principal Financial Group, and then Yellowstone County for 13 years.

Clinton leaves his two dear friends, Bobby Hines of Billings and David Esquibel of Belt.

Surviving him are his four nephews, David and Gary, sons of Wesley and Susan, Ronnie and Randy, sons of Lyle and Ruby; and his niece, Connie, daughter of Wesley and Susan. He has two sisters-in-law that he really cared for, Ruby Moore and Susan Moore Fawcett.

Clinton was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Ann (Hein) Moore, and his two brothers, Wesley E. Moore and Lyle W. Moore.

Clinton will truly be missed by everyone in his family and several friends in Roundup, Belt and Billings who knew him.
