ALBANY - Mrs. Helen Haley Adams Squires, 103 died May 29, 2014 at Lee County Health Care in Leesburg, GA Funeral services will be Saturday May 31, 2014 4:00 PM at Elmhurst Cemetery in Elberton, GA.
A native of Elberton, Mrs. Squires has lived most of her life in Elberton and Atlanta. She was a former member of New Bethel United Methodist Church in Elberton and a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Leonard L. Young Sunday School class and the Sunshine Club in Atlanta and was very active in the Druid Hills Community, where she did volunteer work. Mrs. Squires was retired from the State of Georgia Department of Human Resources.
She was preceded in Death by her parents, Fred P. and Pearl Warren Haley, husbands, Elgin Adams and W. H. Squires, son, Donald Clay Adams daughter, Jane Adams Studdard and a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Segars Adams.
Survivors include her son-in-law, Henry Studdard and his wife Libby of Leesburg, GA, grandchildren, Hank Studdard and his wife Anita of Cumming, GA, Haley Mims and her husband Vance of Leesburg, GA, Lisa Rincon of Covington, GA and Lori Mitcham of Conyers, GA, great-grandchildren, Christopher Rincon, Jennifer Rincon, Ashley Mayfield, Whitney Mitcham, Chelsea Mitcham, Ally Mims and Bailey Childers, four great-great grandchildren.
