SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services celebrating the life of Martha Sue Blankenship, 61, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel in Shreveport, LA. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery, 5185 Swan Lake Rd., Bossier City, LA. Rev. Mimi McDowell will officiate. Visitation for Martha will be on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Rose-Neath Marshall St. from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Martha was born April 14, 1953 in Natchez, MS to William and Maybell Britton and passed away on May 28, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, William "Bill" Blankenship; her sisters, Annie Fowler of Vicksburg, MS; Mary Lee Nowell of Vicksburg, MS; Billye Boyte of Clinton, MS; Brenda Blue of Kemp, TX; Dianne Morace of Monterey, LA and Margaret Anne Ainsworth of Amite, LA; she also has eighteen nieces and nephews.
