EAST MOLINE - Services for Lewanda E. Laird, 74, of 505 Oaklawn Avenue in East Moline, Illinois, will be 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, East Moline. Visitation is after the service in the church Fellowship Hall. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline. Lewanda Laird died Wednesday at Illini Hospital in Silvis, Illinois. She had been a long time Sunday school teacher.

Schroder Mortuary in Silvis, Illinois is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Churh. Lewanda Dodd married Willard Laird in 1937 in Muscatine, Iowa. He died June 27, 1994.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda (Mrs. Gary) Kane, Manassas, Va.; sons, Robert, East Moline; and Jon, Moline; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Walter Dodd, Albuquerque, N.M.
