Delma Sanders was born to William and Sarah Amelia Wilson Sanders in LaVerkin Ut May 15, 1917. The youngest 0f nine children she enjoyed the traditional LaVerkin community Christmas Eve celebration each year. She loved peddling peaches with her dad. Her siblings said as the baby she was spoiled. She was raised in LaVerkkinl. Her Jr. High was in Toquerville where she completed 8th grade. She married Cecil Dutton from Hatch. They lived in Hurricane where he worked for the Sanders Brothers in the turkeys, Las Vegas as a carpenter, ran a sawmill at Mt. Trumbell. As a member of the L. D S. church she served as primary teacher and a Visiting Teacher Supervisor and enjoyed singing in the choir. She and Cecil enjoyed doing many things together. They loved camping and fishing, family deer hunts, and visititing with children and grandchildren. She is survived by two sons: Dean (Sheila), Kelly (Sheila), one daughter, Terrie (Steve), 32 grandchildren and 87 great and 21 great great grandchildren. She died in the Hurricane Rehab on May 23rd. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 27th at 11 am. The chapel is located at 274 S 100 W in Hurricane. There will be a viewing preceding the funeral from 9 - 10:30 am.
