ROBERT NELSON PETTUS (BOB) Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday, September 23, 2010 in his 89th year. Predeceased by his parents Theadoshia and Robert Pettus, his wife Margaret Jean (1985), his brother Ronald Pettus, his sisters Marion Stafford and Gwyneth Etherington, his daughter Shirley Pettus and his son Robert Pettus. Survived by his sisters Phyllis Leland and Katheline (Everett) Dysinger. Dear husband of Alexandra (Lexie) Pettus. Beloved father of Sharon Giles, Jerry (Sue) Pettus, Kathryn Cashmore, Christopher Pettus, Mark Pettus and Lynn (Art) Russell. Missed dearly by his many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Friends and family will be received at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N., Whitby (905-655-3662) on Sunday, September 26, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., followed by a chapel service at 3:00 p.m. Interment Groveside Cemetery.
