Elmer Lynn Starmer
Elmer Starmer, age 70 of Clarence, MO passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2008, at approximately 4:37 pm at the Macon Health Care Center in Macon, MO.
He was born March 8, 1938, in Lakenan, MO, the son of Clarence and Ella Butler Starmer. On January 5, 1980, he was united in marriage to Patsy Robey. She survives.
Elmer is also survived by three stepchildren, Zinna Beth Legg of Columbia, MO, Lisa Timbrook of Columbia, MO and Ronda Kinzer of Shelbina, MO; six step-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Jean Gosney and her husband Albert of Sherrard, IL and Alice Mae Allensworth of Bettendorf, IA and five nephews, Larry Allensworth of Colona, IL, Dale Allensworth of Moline, IL, Anthony Gosney of East Moline, IL, Ron Gosney and Lindall Gosney both of Littleton, CO.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ella Sherwood.
Elmer worked for the City of Shelbina Electrical Department for over twenty-five years. He enjoyed working on Ford vehicles, woodworking, riding 4-wheelers, deer hunting and spending time with his dogs. Elmer especially enjoyed spending time with his nephews.
