Gracie Young Haley, age 90, passed away Monday surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Haley was born in Laurens County to the late William Artis Carr and Pierceie Garnto Carr. She retired from Tom's Candy Factory. Mrs. Haley loved her family, and was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Sam Young and Reverend Smith Haley; daughter, Margaret Harry; and siblings, Roy Carr, Ralph Carr, Alma Barnette, Emma Lou Knight, and Mattie Mae Williams.
The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 P.M. Friday at Crest Lawn.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday in the Chapel of Crest Lawn. Her grandson, the Reverend Richard Soper will officiate. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
