Guy Huston Green, 81, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, in Cañon City, Colo. The son of John Henry and Louise Ellen (Webb) Green, he was born in Custer County, Okla., on Jan. 16, 1933.
Guy was united in marriage to Alfreda Margie Conover, and to this union four children were born. He owned and operated Country Kennels in Canon City before retiring and moving to Farmington.
Mr. Green is survived by his wife, Freda; children, Gary (DeeDee) Green, Rick (Lori) Green, Lori (Dusty) Downs, and Terry (Susan) Green; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Frank Green; and two great-grandsons, Hunter and Adam Green.
At his request, no services will be held.
