Patricia Ann Campbell-Fairchild, 56, Topeka, died July 26, 2002, at a Topeka hospital.
Mrs. Campbell-Fairchild was a medical technologist and worked at several area hospitals. She most recently worked at Colmery O'Neil VA Medical Center.
She was born July 10, 1946, in Topeka, the daughter of Ernest E. and S. Dorothy Broski Campbell. She lived in Topeka her entire life. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1964 and Phillips University in Enid, Okla., in 1968.
She married Robert J. Fairchild Jr. on July 12, 1997. He survives.
Other survivors include her mother, Dorothy Campbell, Phoenix; a brother, Gary Campbell, Topeka; and a sister, Donna Young, Topeka.
Cremation is planned. Private memorial services will be at a later date.
Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel is in charge of cremation.
