Mr. James Homer Luker, 68, of Union City died 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2014, in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Rev. Tony Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in Campground Cemetery near Troy.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2014.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Graddy, Jeremiah Brock, James Luker, Jon Vallee, Jeremy Scott and Randy Bridges.

Mr. Luker was born January 14, 1946, in Obion County, son of the late Homer Xanthus and Ethel Lorraine (Smith) Luker.

He married Shirley Ann (Council) Luker October 15, 1971. She died April 9, 2012.

Mr. Luker was a member of Mt. Ararat Cumberland Presbyterian Church and served in the United States Army in the Vietnam War.
