Deborah Ann Lane, 51, passed away in her mother's home on November 12, 2013 after a difficult fight with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease).

Debbie was born on February 8, 1962 and was a native of Colorado Springs. She graduated from Mitchell High School in 1980 and then began her family and career as a small business owner.

Throughout the years, Debbie owned and managed S.S. Subs, Mirage Motors, and Doodlebugs Daycare and has touched the lives of many people throughout the community.

Debbie was very driven and always fought for what she believed in. She had an incredible love for life and for her family and friends. She cared greatly for animals and always enjoyed caring for children. Debbie's spontaneity and love for adventure led to many spur of the moment trips and countless memories. She loved traveling and the outdoors: camping, fishing and boating.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Terry; children Leanne (Jon) Micheel, Kristy (Cody) Schumann, Eric (Gina) Lundby, Terry "TJ" Lane, Tara Lane, Taylor Lane and Tessa Lane; grandson Mason Micheel, mother Rita Lessman; sister Dianne Bonicelli; and Leanne, Kristy and Eric's father, David Lundby.

She was preceded in death by her father Eugene Lessman and her sister Carol Sinchak.

A Memorial Service will be 2PM Friday, November 22, 2013, at The Springs Funeral Services at 3115 East Platte Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80909.

A celebration of life will follow at The Warehouse, 25 West Cimarron St., Colorado Springs, CO 80903.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society, 610 Abbot Lane, Colorado Springs, CO 80905.
