Mrs. GERTRUDE LEONA GOSSARD, 87, of Rt. 5 Hagerstown, widow of Grover C. Gossard, died suddenly Friday afternoon at the home of her sister, Mrs. Gladys Lesher, 127 Tritle Ave., Waynesboro, Pa. She was born in Fiddlersburg, the daughter of Benjamin F. and Mary Ellen Smith Stouffer.
She was a member of Leitersburg Lutheran Church and the Leitersburg Grange.
Besides her sister, she is survived by brothers, Frank C., Harry B., H. Bruce Stouffer, all of Hagerstown, and J. Keiffer Stouffer, San Diego, Ca.
Services were held at the Norment Funeral Home; burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
