Ronald Destry Holcomb, 41, of Diana, Texas joined his Heavenly Father on May 18,
2014, in Longview, Texas.

Destry was born on December 21, 1972 at Offutt AFB, near Omaha, Nebraska to Ronald
Herman Holcomb and Gaynelle Turner.

Destry began his lifelong career in the oil and gas industry in 1991. His dedication
to the well-being of his colleagues and co-workers earned him the reputation of
being a man of honor and integrity. Destry was highly respected and considered a
tremendous asset by the organizations and companies for which he served.

Destry enjoyed competitive sports and motorcycling was his greatest passion. Destry
was a member of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club, East Texas Chapter, where he achieved
the high honor of becoming the chapter’s Vice President.

He will be lovingly remembered by friends and family for his adventurous spirit and
his passionate love of life. Destry devoted much of his time and energy to the
generous care of his wife, children, family and friends. The loss of his kindness,
enthusiasm and wonderful sense of humor will leave a void in the hearts and lives of
those he touched.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Christy. Destry and Christy enjoyed life and
love together for 21 years. He is also survived by his three children, Riley
Alaine(17), Haley Aliece(16) and Raeley Shay(9). Destry is survived by his parents,
grandmothers, Nelda Faye Wright and Helen Marie Holcomb, both of Gilmer, Texas,
siblings, Staci Gay Holcomb of Dallas, Texas, Michael D. Turner, Jr. of Irving,
Texas, Stephen M. Turner and wife Dawne of Longview, Texas and Shanda Clay and
husband Kyle of McKinney, Texas, Mother and father-in-law Bobby and Donna Garrett of
Gilmer, Texas, sister-in-law Misty Wallace of Gladewater, Texas and many aunts,
uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Destry is preceded in death by his stepdad Michael D. “Mike” Turner and grandfathers
Herman E. Holcomb and Neal E. Wright.

Pallbearers:
Bryan Atchley, Douglas Gazette, Lonnie Green, Alan McFarland, Marshall Mitchell,
Shane Palmer, Jeff Peel, Kevin Roda, Tommy Rogers, Phil Sampson and all of his
Bandido brothers.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the chapel of Rader
Funeral Home in Longview, 1617 Judson Road, with Bandido One Wire officiating.
Graveside services will be held at Rock Springs cemetery in Gladewater, Texas.

The family requests memorial donations are made directly to an Education Trust Fund
for his children at Regions Bank and/or a memorial donation may be made directly to
St. Jude Children’s Hospital at www.harleysforhope.org

A memorial guestbook may be signed at www.raderfh.com. We invite family and friends
to help build a collection of pictures, videos, stories, messages, etc. for his wife
