David W. Tyrrell, 57, of Fulton, passed away Wednesday at University Hospital, Syracuse after a short illness. Mr. Tyrrell was born in NJ to the late Daniel and Alice (Doran) Tyrrell, Sr. He was an auto mechanic at Country Auto Services, Pennellville, NY. He had a great love of the outdoors and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also played many sports over his lifetime including many softball and pool leagues. He was predeceased by his brother, Danny Tyrrell in 2010. Mr. Tyrrell was very much loved and will be greatly missed by his wife of 30 years, Patti Tyrrell of Fulton; two children, David (Amber) Tyrrell Jr., of Fulton, Jovi (Carl) Tyrrell of Fulton; siblings, Mary Tyrrell and Mike Tyrrell, both of Fulton; grandchildren, Stella and several nieces, nephews, in-laws and lifelong friends. Funeral services will be held 9 a.m. Saturday in Holy Trinity Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be conducted 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 West Second St. S., Fulton.
