Amanda and Clarence Kirby were married January 31, 1942.
Amanda was a talented artist and enjoyed painting scenery in the Nashville area. She was a member of Morgantown 1st Christian Church, in Morgantown, IN. She was also a member of Hamilton County Artist's Association (Honorary); Hoosier Salon; Indianapolis Art League Foundation; Brown County Art Guild, Inc.; The Indiana Artist's Club; The Art Association of Indianapolis; International Society of Artists, and Watercolor Society of Indiana.
She is survived by son, Joel (Karen) Kirby of Noblesville; two grandchildren, William (Debra) Kirby of Lindale, TX, and Leslie (Jason) Kirby-Miles of Evanston, IL; two great-grandchildren, Emma Kirby & Oliver Miles and sister, Betty Shickley of Nashville.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Clarence Kirby, who died in 1994.
