Therese Mathilde Amalie, Duchess of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, wife of Prince Karl Alexander von Thurn und Taxis, was born the third daughter of Karl II, Duke of Mecklenburg-Strelitz and his wife Friederike Caroline Luise of Hesse-Darmstadt. Her sister Louise Of Mecklenburg-Strelitz became the Queen of Prussia as the wife of King Friedrich III of Prussia. Therese died at Schloss Taxis (aka Schloss Trugenhofen) at Dischingen.
