Lillie Cornelius Moon, 83, of Nauvoo died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000, at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, 2000, at the Blackwater Macedonia Church of Christ in Jasper with burial in Mackey Boshell Cemetery. Collins-Burke Funeral Home will direct.
Visitation will be at 6 p.m. tonight, Oct. 26, 2000, in the parlor at the funeral home and Friday, Oct. 27, 2000, from 1-2 p.m. at the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Moon and son, Charlie Moon.
She is survived by two daughters, Euvaughn Tucker and Glenda Sue Cook both of Nauvoo; three sons, Joe V. Moon and Jesse William "J.W." Moon both of Jasper and Billy Gene Moon of Dora; four sisters, Stella M. Hanes and Hazel Gilliland both of Jasper, Johnnie S. Aycox of Birmingham and Vonnie L. Sandlin of Hueytown; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. She was a faithful member of Macedonia Blackwater Church of Christ
