Meredith Marie Jones, 28, of Villa Hills, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014. She is preceded in death by her loving partner, Erin Ohligschlager, as well as her Aunt and Uncle Cindy and Lee Pennington. Meredith is survived by her parents, Janie Ratliff Sweeney and David J. Jones. She also leaves behind her step-father, Thomas A. Sweeney and her loving brother, Phillip Jones, her step-brothers Justin (Kelly) Sweeney, Austin Sweeney and her step-sister, Jill (Jason) Fowee. Meredith was the cherished granddaughter of Marlene Jones, Elizabeth and Robert Powell and Robert and Becky Ratliff. She was loved with all of their hearts by her beloved aunts and uncle, Melinda and Mark Robinson, Denise Evans, Bobbi Stanforth, Rebecca (Tom Labbe) Ratliff, and her step-aunt Sheila Klayer Tebbe and step-uncle Jim Tebbe. Meredith left her loving cousins; Emily Robinson, Mindy McCarroll, Mandy Schloemer, Mary Krotchen, Cindy Evans, Michael Stanforth, and Charlette Winkler. Meredith will be remembered as a beautiful woman inside and out with a tremendous heart who loved her dogs Marley and Jordan. She was a great multi-sport athlete who had a particular love for the games of basketball and soccer, having played soccer at Bellarmine University under scholarship. Visitation will be Friday, May 23, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.at Middendorf Funeral Home, 3312 Madison Pike, Ft. Wright, Kentucky 41017. Services will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.
