Mrs. Jannie Young Dies in Greenwood
Services will be held Thursday afternoon
Mrs. Jannie Young of Greenwood passed away Monday evening at the late home following a long illness. She has lived here for the past 30 years.
She was born February 9, 1861 in Hartsville, a daughter of Rufus and Fannie Sterns. On August 30, 1883 she was united in marriage to Thomas L. Young who died 3, 1938. She is survived by sons. Bertie Young of Alfred, Randall Young of Addison, Homer Young of Greenwood and daughters, Mrs. Fannie Monroe of Andover and Mrs. F. E. Barlow of Wellsville.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Methodist Episcopal church of Greenwood following a prayer at the home. Burial will be made in Bennett Creek cemetery.
