Funeral services celebrating the life of Ronnie Louis Chenevert wer held Saturday, May 31, 2014, in The Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria, Reverend David L. Shaw officiated. Burial follow with Military Honors in Forest Lawn Memorial Park..

Ronnie was born on September 14, 1932 in Pineville, Louisiana and passed from this life on May 27, 2014, at the age of 81, at his home in Alexandria. He will be deeply missed by those that knew and loved him.

Mr. Chenevert was a lifelong member and deacon of Parkview Baptist Church, Alexandria where he taught "Chenevert Bible Study" Sunday school. He was a graduate of Bolton High School Class of 1950 and a distinguished Military ROTC graduate of Louisiana State University Class of 1954 with a Bachelor of Forestry Degree. He proudly served his country in the United States Army in the 11th Airborne Division and was a member of Gideon International.

He was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Louis Chenevert and his parents, Aristede and Artie Aymond Chenevert.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 62 years; daughter and son-in-law; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren. Numerous other family members and countless friends.
