Joyce Rae Swensen Vance passed away on May 25, 2014 in Murray, Utah.
She was born January 11, 1935 in Mount Pleasant, Utah to Ray and Nedra Swensen.
On March 6, 1954, she married Terrell H. Vance, who preceded her in death.
Joyce loved playing Bingo, making puzzles, and watching "The Golden Girls."
She is survived by her children, Terri Joy White, Cheryl Ann (Ron) Eaton, Chris Kendell (Sally), Brian Garnell (Tammy), and Shelly Rae Curtis. Also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Diane Ottesen, Dot (Jim) Ivory, and Jennie (Floyd) Madsen; and brother, Monte (Mary) Swensen. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Terrell, Sr.; son, Terrell, Jr.; and granddaughter, Jamie Lyn Vance.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2014 in the Mountain View Memorial Estates Mortuary Chapel, 3115 East Bengal Boulevard (7800 South). A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services at 1:00 p.m.
Interment will follow in the Mountain View Memorial Estates Cemetery.
