The graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday May 30, 2014 at the Hillcrest Cemetery with full military honors.
Mr. Richards was born on December 2, 1952 in Wauseon, OH to the late Gerald Ernest and Maxine May Peters Richards. He had lived in Worth County for the past 22 years moving here from Albany. Mr. Richards retired as a MSGT after 20 years of service in the US Marine Corps and later retired from Civil Service at the Marine Corps Logistics Base. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and was of the Presbyterian Faith. Mr. Richards loved to work on automobiles, electronics and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret "Marge" Torbert Richards of Worth County; sons, Robert Zimmerman, Jr. (Mary) of Worth County, John Richards (Jennifer) of Leesburg, Chris Richards (Kristi) of Augusta and Tim Richards (April) of Ty Ty; seven grandchildren.
