GLENDA MORRIS

was born in Morris Chapel, Tennessee on July 28, 1938 the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Meda Morris Jarrett.

On March 8, 1958 she was united in marriage to Mackey Edwin Morris, who preceded his wife in death on October 28, 1999.

Mrs. Morris was a machine operator for 15 years for Angelica Manufacturing. She also had worked for Savannah Manufacturing Company, Savannah Homes and Hardin County Courthouse. Mrs. Morris was an avid reader and she was a very good basketball player while she went to school at Morris Chapel High School. She was a member of Crump Baptist Church. Mrs. Morris loved most of all spending time with her grandchildren and having meals with close friends.

She departed this life on December 17, 2013 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 75 years, 4 months and 19 days.

Mrs. Morris is survived by her two sons, Eddie Morris of Murray, Kentucky and Ben Morris of Savannah, Tennessee

six grandchildren, Chelsea Futrell, Cassie Marshall, Whitney Morris, Matthew Morris, Shelby Morris and Molly Morris

two great grandchildren, Riggins Futrell and Parker Marshall

one sister, Louise Bradley of Memphis, Tennessee

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Gina Lynn Morris and four brothers, Max Jarrett, Ben Jarrett, Jr., Leon Jarrett and Johnny Jarrett
