Marsha L. Phillips, 66, of Lecanto, Florida, passed away Sunday May 25, 2014. She was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Douglas and Marjorie Price. She had moved here in 1974 from South Florida. She was a retired elementary school teacher with the Citrus County School System for 22 years, and she and her husband were owners of Phillips Tire in Crystal River. She was a member at Gulf to Lake Church in Crystal River.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years William "Bill" Phillips; two sons, Wade (Becky) and Travis (Jennifer) Phillips; brother, Doug Price; sisters, Dorinne Hebert and Diane Oliver; and five grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, May30, 2014, at Gulf to Lake Church receiving friends one hour prior. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Lecanto. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Citrus County. Arrangements are under the direction of Strickland Funeral Home with Crematory, Crystal River.
