Elizabeth Mary Turner Ladd died on Thursday, January 30, 2015. A graduate of Murphy High School, she continued her education at Stevens College in Columbia, Missouri. She served as joint Co-Chairman and was a driving force in the formation of Julius T. Wright School for Girls. She was preceded in death by her parents, Noel Monroe Turner and Lydia Elizabeth Touart Turner, her husband John Milton Ladd, son, Noel Fleetwood Ladd, daughter Noel Elizabeth Ladd Davis and her grandson James Edwin Davis, III. She is survived by her brother, sons, six grandsons, four granddaughters, four great-grandsons, eight great-granddaughters, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
