Sue Anne Harrison was born January 30, 1932 in Vancouver, Washington. The youngest of 4, she grew up on a farm in Camas, Washington. She often recalled scenes from her childhood which included riding horses down what is now Mill Plain Avenue in Vancouver, Washington.

She married and had her first son, Richard, when she was 18.

Her favorite job was as an elevator operator for Meier and Frank in downtown Portland, Oregon but she later worked as a bank teller.

She met her husband, Richard Harrison, while commuting to work on the bus. Sue and Richard had two children, Karen and David. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker. Her children have fond memories of her great sense of humor and love for them. She was widowed in 1990 and she spent her later years watching cooking shows, collecting and trying new recipes, taking care of her 4 birds and cat, and tending to her garden.
She passed away peacefully on May 19, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Harrison; her brother, Robert Natwick; and her sister, Mary McGogy.
