Louise Caldwell Sparks

Louise Caldwell Sparks, beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, passed away June 12, 2008, at her home in Nampa, with her three daughters present.

She was born October 27, 1914, in Burns, Oregon, to John Lee Caldwell and Blanche "Vanna" Terrill Caldwell. She married Frank C. Sparks on August 11, 1932, and they moved to Nampa in 1937.

She joined the Episcopal Church when she was 12 years old and was a faithful member until her demise, having spent many years singing in the choir and very involved in various activities (in her younger years) at Grace Episcopal Church.
She lived life to its fullest in a period that Tom Brokaw called "The Greatest Generation." She and Dad loved to entertain and travel. She also loved singing, playing the piano, dancing, dressing beautifully, playing bridge, golfing, and her dear friends.

She is survived by her three daughters, Bonnie K. (Dick) Suttle of Caldwell, ID; Sue (Dale) Beltz of Green Valley, AZ; and Gretchen Sparks of Nampa, ID who has been her wonderful caregiver and companion for many years. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great–great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson, a sister, and 2 brothers.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Cremation was entrusted to Alsip & Persons Funeral Chapel Nampa, ID.
