Carl Brice "CB" Crawford, 83, of Ashland passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at The Good Shepherd Home in Ashland.

He was born April 28, 1931, to Floyd and Lottie Crawford in Kentucky.

He had been a resident of Ashland County most of his life, working for Coburn Industries for more than 35 years, and delivering the Ashland Times-Gazette for several years.

"CB" had been married to Barbara Elaine Kruzin, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by four children from his first marriage; and children from his second marriage, Doug (Marcy) Crawford of Belmont, New York, Tony (Karin) Crawford of West Salem, Shelley (Terry) Adkins of Cuba, New York; stepchildren, Betty (Sonny) White of Scio, New York, Naomi Beasly of Scio, New York, and Cindy Sloan of Illinois; along with 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Merle Crawford of Ashland.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives and five siblings.

Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Heyl Funeral Home with Pastor Skip Snell officiating. Interment will be in Nova Cemetery in Nova.

Friends may visit with the family 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. service Thursday at the funeral home.
