Bille Joy Bacon, 83,of Milroy, passed away Tuesday, May 26, at St. Franciscan Health in Indianapolis.

Bille was born in Russellville, Kentucky, on March 17, 1931, a daughter of the late Clara (Barton ) Darnell and John Vansickle. She was the wife of Donovan Bacon. They were married Aug. 12, 1950.

She is survived by her husband; three sons, Dean, husband of Pat Bacon, of Milroy, Ron, husband of Susie Bacon, of Greenwood, and Mark, husband of Linda Bacon, of Milroy; six grand children; and 13 great grand children; and special like family, Dave and Jenny Sliger.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Earl Vansickle; and one sister Dorothy Vansickle Ryle.

She was a life time member and Sunday School teacher of Moscow Christian Church. She graduated from Milroy High School. She was involved with Friendly Neighbor Home Ec Club, was a retired school bus driver and farm wife of 63 years.

Funeral service is at 10 a.m. Friday, May 30,2014 at Moscow Christian Church, with Rev. Mark Wesner, Rev. Philip Bacon and Rev. Mark Vice officiating.

Burial will follow in Moscow Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church.Family request donations to Moscow Christian Church Moscow or charity of donor's choice.
