H. Scott Rupert, 68,

died peacefully at his beloved home on the hill with his two special kitties by his side.

Scott was born in Williamsport, on Oct. 8, 1945. He was the son of Howard and Jean (Kline) Rupert.

Scott graduated from Loyalsock Township High School.

He spent four years in the Navy during the Vietnam War.

He worked and retired from Ralph Alberts and Sons.

Scott loved the outdoors spending more time outside than in. He hunted, fished, and loved golf. He was Club Champion at the Wynding Brook Golf Club, and dearly loved all of his golf buddies.

Scott is survived by two sisters,
Lee (Carl) Palmer, of Chincoteague, Va.,
and Prudy (Ralph) Dunne, of Montoursville.

Also surviving are two nieces,
Tricia (Bryan) Waltz,
and Heather Palmer
and three nephews,
Joe (Lori) Dunne,
John (Katie) Dunne
and Matt (Mary Beth) Palmer.

There are seven great-nieces and nephews that knew how to make him laugh.

Scott was predeceased by his wife, Judy (Rissell) Rupert and by his parents.

There will be a memorial service at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, Thursday, May 29, 2014, at 11 a.m. A celebration of Scott's life will follow at Sammy's Restaurant immediately after interment in Montoursville Cemetery, Lycoming Mall Drive.
