Patty Ann Smith Rowe was born September 10, 1947, in Memphis, Tennessee, to James Weaver and Willie Ruth Barrett whom preceded her in death.
She confessed to knowing Christ at an early age at Williams Chapel Church and later became a member of Mt. Moriah East Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Barrett's Chapel High School.
Patty was employed at Sears Crosstown for more than twenty years. She started Wee Bit Family Day Care for fifteen years. She was also employed at Dillard's Department Store until she became ill.
She was united in marriage to Robert Smith in 1965; and to this union two daughters were born, Deidra Smith Simmons and Portia Clayton McWilliams. In 1998 she married Mr. Alonzo Rowe.

Patty's remains were interred at Northaven Cemetery, M. J. Edwards Whitehaven Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
