Lisa Marie Lawrie Sanders, 53 of Lubbock, Texas passed away May 17th 2014.
She was born December 29th, 1959 in Lubbock.
She graduated from Coronado High School ith Honors in 1978. She was employed by Furr's Cafeteria Corporate Offices for 20 years and in recent years retired due to physical limitations from neck and back injuries. Lisa was a beautiful spirit. A force to be reckoned with. She was giving, and loving, and sensitive. She was silly,and stubborn and fun loving. Those who knew her, knew that she would give you the shirt off her back. The constant pain she suffered from her back and neck got her down sometimes. She was loved much, by many, and she will be missed.
She is survived by her parents James and Jeanette Lawrie, a sister Nita Lawrie Fortner and husband Danny and their children Collin Fortner, and Jason Fortner and wife Ashley Fortner with their children Katelyn, Kamryn, and Tanner Fortner. One Uncle Larry Lawrie of Ohio. 13 Cousins and their families, and her ex husband David Sanders who remained close friends with Lisa.
We would love everyone to join us in celebrating Lisa's life in a memorial service held Saturday May 31st at 7 p.m.at her nephews home In Wolfforth. Write down a memory of Lisa to be read even if you are unable to attend.
