Yesterday afternoon about 1:30 an accident happened at this station which has cast a gloom over the entire community. The Tyrone and Lewisburg train was somewhat late. The Moonshine local which has a run between Altoona and Pemberton stone quarries was doing shifting work on the eastward trip and some cars were being shifted to the freight station track. In order to make room for the Tyrone and Lewisburg train the cabin car of the Moonshine train was being pushed past by Adam Wolfgang dispatcher, and Robert Worley conductor of the moonshine local, upon an adjoining track which was successfully done and the track made clear for the warehouse siding but by the misplaced switch the backing cars came in contract with the cabin car and Adam Wolfgang was under and killed instantly. Mr Worley was thrown to the side and suffered injuries. The remains of Mr Wolfgang were put in the dead room at the station and a jury of inquest summoned by J L Holmes esq. who examined the body. The remains after the inquest were taken to undertaker J H Burley & Bro. on Logan St. Mr Wolfgang for the railrod for 26yr.
