She was preceded in death by her parents: Miles Lindsey Webb and Minnie Estelle Blair Webb of Mayking, KY. Her siblings: a sister: Geraldine Marie Webb Pope, two brothers: Harold Webb and Nelson Robinette Webb. She was the widow of Dr. Ralph Gambrel, who practiced family medicine in Rogersville, TN.
She is survived by a daughter: Cynthia Leigh Gambrel Crum, a son-in-law: Gilbert Wayne Crum, and three grandchildren: Tamarah Leigh Crum, Kathryn Grace Crum Olmstead and husband Weston of Greeneville and Anthony Bryan Crum and wife Laura of Pleasant Grove, UT. She has four great grandchildren. Her nephew, Miles Henry Pope of Lexington, KY and a niece, Glenna Mason Pope Harris of Louisville, Ky. She has six great nieces and nephews and several great great nieces and nephews.
Kathryn was a homemaker for many years. She enjoyed playing golf and working in her flower beds. She was especially adept at raising beautiful roses. She loved to do oil painting and made many beautiful paintings, which hang in family members' homes.
She will be deeply missed by friends and family. Special friends are Deborah Clamon, Mary Lane Blair, Bernice Kirkpatrick and Carolyn Gibbons.
Visitation with her family will be Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 4:00 until 5:30 PM at Colboch-Price Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 5:30 PM, with Rev. John North officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery.
