Mrs. Pope has spent her entire life serving God and others. Her great gift was her love for her family, friends and everyone she met. She spent a great deal of time reading her bible and praying for others. When she was not at a bible study or a church function, she was happy at home working on large jigsaw puzzles and cooking pineapple cakes for those she loved. She was truly a servant for God.

Survivors include her sons, Ronnie Pope and wife Susan, Theodore “Ted” Pope and wife Denise; daughter-in-law, Sue Pope; Grandchildren, Christy Sullivan and husband Bill, Rodney Pope and wife Crystal, Amy Williams and husband Kevin, Andrew Pope and wife Jenna, all of Dunn, Kelly Fiske and husband Paul of Harrisonburg, VA.; Great-Grandchildren, Jordan Sullivan, Ashley and Fisher Pope, Matthew and Elizabeth Foster, Timothy, Parker and Avalynne Fiske, Kylie, Mia and Josie Williams, Everette and Brooklynn Pope; sisters, Claudia Norris of Coats and Geraldine Griffin of Burlington, NC.
