A very Pretty wedding took place in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lunsford Bashaw, near East Rochester, Saturday evening, when their daughter, Miss Alzada Bashaw, was married to Will C. McCray, of Pleasant Valley, near Carrollton, by the bride's pastor, Rev. Thomas Hughes, of East Rochester. The guests included Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Bashaw, of East Liverpool; Mr. and Mrs. Leiper and Miss Leiper, of Kensington, and Mrs. Hughes. The bride received several nice presents.

Mrs. Alzada Mary McCray, 85, of 130 5th Street NE, Carrollton, died early Friday at the Carroll County Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in East Twp., January 20, 1884, she was a life resident of the area. Her parents were the late Lunsford H. and Lucretia (Pettit) Bashaw. Mrs. McCray was a member of the First Methodist Church at Carrollton and the Wesleyan Sunday School Class. Her husband, William C. McCray whom she married September 2, 1911, died July 9, 1955.
Surviving are a son, Olan of East Canton; a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Coffy of the home; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild. A son and three brothers also preceded her in death. Services were Monday at the Allmon Funeral Home here with Rev. John L. Clark officiating. Burial was in Westview cemetery, in Carrollton.
