Joe Glenn Pittman, 79, died on Monday, May 26, 2014 at his home in St. Francisville. He was born in Enterprise, LA. He was retired with 25 years at Angola and 25 years at West Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Office.
Visitation will all be at Tunica United Methodist Church, service conducted by Rev. Mike Clark. Burial will follow at Rogillio Cemetery in Tunica.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gloria McNeal Pittman, Daughters, Leisha Carruth and husband David Carruth of Harrison, AR, Kathey Griffin and Husband Joseph Griffin, Jr. of Jackson, LA, Glenda Freeman and Destinie Neal, both of St. Francisville, brothers, OR Pittman "Junior" of Clinton and Harold Lee "Pete" Pittman and wife Carolyn of St. Francisville,

He loved hunting, riding his golf cart, being outdoors and spending time with his family. He graduated from St. Francisville High School and was a member of Louisiana Sheriff's Association and West Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Association.
