Rev. George C. Irvin, loving husband, father, and grandfather, went home to Jesus Friday, May 24, 2013. He was born in Louisville, Ky. October 30, 1926 and married Nordica Taylor December 21, 1946; they were married 66 years and raised four sons together. George was a Southern Baptist pastor and special missionary for 50 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Nordica; his four sons, David, John, Daniel (Carolyn), and Peter; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother.
