JACKSON, Miss. -- Christopher Nicholas Calhoun, 25, of Montesano, who worked as a lineman, died as the result of an industrial accident Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005, at Jackson, Miss.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at the Whiteside Family Mortuary in Montesano.
A funeral is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday at the Montesano Presbyterian Church. Private burial will be in the Wynooche Cemetery at Montesano.

Christopher Nicholas Calhoun, 25, of Montesano, died on September 1, 2005 in Jackson, Mississippi as a result of an industrial accident. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2005, at the Montesano Presbyterian Church in Montesano. A private burial will be held at the Wynooche Cemetery in Montesano. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2005, at the Whiteside Family Mortuary in Montesano. Christopher was born on December 9, 1979 in Olympia and lived most of his life in Montesano. He graduated from Montesano High School in 1998, and from North West Lineman College in Meridian, Idaho in 1999. He worked for Evergreen Utility Contractors, and for the last year was employed by AIR 2, a helicopter power line repair company, working mainly in the southern United States. At the time of his death he was called into service to repair damages due to Hurricane Katrina. Christopher loved the outdoors. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, camping, and hiking. He spent many hours exploring the back country of the Satsop and Wynooche Rivers, and he knew every hidden spot on those rivers where steelhead and salmon were hiding. He is survived by his parents, Renee and Dennis Hliboki, of Shelton; a brother, Darin, of Shelton; grandparents, Nora and Wayne Calhoun, of Montesano; grandmother, Mary Lou Rochon, of Olympia; uncle, Randy Rochon, of Longview; aunts, Cindy Wincewicz, of Redmond, Connie Hull, of Richland, and Karla Coglin, of Kirkland; and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Kevin N. Calhoun; and by his grandfather, Louis "Bud" Rochon. Chris' loving and giving spirit will be truly missed.
