Carmel T. Meyer, 78, of Moline, died Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.
Services are 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rock Island. Entombment will be at Calvary Mausoleum, Rock Island. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island, where a rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. Memorials may be made to V.A. Medical Center, Iowa City, Iowa.

(Cindy) Meyer; grandchildren, Chad (Karli) Meyer, Janel (Jason) Dowdal, Christina Meyer, Eric Meyer (fiancee, Kara Huggart), Jennifer Meyer, Michelle Meyer, and Holly Meyer; great-grandchildren, Ebony and Cory Meyer, Connor and Gavin Dowdal and Morgan Meyer; brothers and sisters, Joseph Meisel Jr., Elizabeth Jacum, John Meisel, Frances Meisel and Mary Pinkas; sister-in-law, Loretta Meyer; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
