MICHAEL LEWIS HAMILTON, age 63, born April 18, 1951, spent his life in retail management until his health took it from him 2 ½ years ago. He fought a long, hard battle to the end. So on May 21, 2014 he finally got to go home to see face to face his Master and Lord Jesus Christ.

Preceded in death by parents, Commander Lewis and Marilyn Hamilton; sister, Betty Carol; mother-in-law, Trula Mae Thorpe; and a very dear special friend since childhood, Tommy Starkey.

Survived by and will deeply be missed by his loving wife of 30 years, Rhonda; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Matthew Lemieux; grandchildren, Alex, Carson and Summer of Mobile, AL; several brothers and sisters-in-law and two special nephews; two best friends that he felt and loved like a brother, James Slyman of Knoxville and Rick Fisher of White Pine.

Graveside interment service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Highland Memorial Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Farrar Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Hamilton burial fund.
