Harvey Nelson St John was born on December 16, 1822 in Saltfleet Township, Wentworth, Ontario, Canada. His father Harvey St John b1797 was 23 and his mother Catherine nee Rittenburgh was 22. He married Eliza Jane Jones in 1849 and they had two sons and three daughters together in the years between 1850 and 1868. Eliza passed away in March 1893. He then married Caroline 'Dunham' St John on August 7, 1893 in Wentworth, Ontario, Canada. He passed away on February 10, 1905 in Wentworth, Canada having lived a long life of 84 years. (Eliza's sister Mary was this writers GG/Grandmother as she married Leviness Van Dusen - see Mem# 125119566) There was a lot of intermarriage between the St John's, Jones families all inte-connected with the Rittenburg / Van Dusens's.
