Thomas Joseph Harrison was the oldest son of Thomas Harold Harrison and Francis Adeline Walton. He was born in the Utah Territory before it became a state. He married Laura Briggs on March 5, 1929 in Salt Lake City. To this union was born four children; Merlin Briggs, Therus Briggs, David T. and Erma Elvira, all born in Bountiful, Utah. The boys used to say that Erma was the baby and was spoiled by her parents. Thomas died on March 1938, in Bell, California.
