Leslie Joe Brewer was born December 23rd, 1945, to Joe Leslie Brewer and Betty June Brewer in Wagoner, Oklahoma. He attended most of his years in school in Pryor, Oklahoma where he graduated from high school in 1964. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1964. While in the military he was stationed at Norton Air Force Base in San Bernardino, California. It was during that time in 1967, that he met Cheri Jo Montury, his wife of almost 42 years. They were married January 26th of 1968. They are the parents of 3 children, Chad Bryan Brewer, Lesley Jeanine Smith and Amanda Beth Robison. They also have 5 grandchildren: Jessica, Blake, Rachel, Danny and Noah. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert Brewer. Survivors are: Ronny Gene Brewer (brother) and Betty Ar- lene Risner (sister) of Pryor, OK. In 1972, Leslie joined his father and brother in the agricultural and commercial business that his father began in 1967. He worked with his father and family for 37 years until death. Brewer Construction Company of Eastern Oklahoma, Inc. has been a family owned business for over 40 years. He took great pride in making a family business grow to third generation ownership. He was very proud of the legacy he had built and left behind for his family. He had few hobbies outside of work but learned to appreciate the love of golf the last 5 years of his life. He lost his battle with cancer on December 22nd, just two hours before his 64th birthday. Funeral services will be Monday, December 28th at 10 a.m., in the Broken Arrow Church of Christ.
